Virgil Thomas Cox

   Mr. Virgil Thomas Cox of Campbellsville passed peacefully from this life on Monday, April 12, 2021 at the Taylor Regional Hospital. Born on August 28, 1950 to the late Mike and Retha Merle (Johnson) Cox, he was 70 years, 7 months, and 15 days of age. He entered this world facing several hardships, yet all who know him speak highly of his kind and gentle demeanor, and cherish the time they had with him.

   He leaves to mourn his passing:

   Four siblings: Mary Lou Durham of Campbellsville, Frances Ritchie and husband David of Georgetown, James Clellan Cox of Lebanon, and William Sanford Cox of Hustonville,

   And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

   Mr. Cox will be laid to rest beside his mother and father in the Old Liberty Cemetery in Bradfordsville on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at 10:00 AM.
