Tina Marie (Hicks) Karnes

   Mrs. Tina Marie Karnes of Campbellsville passed peacefully from this life on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at the Norton Inpatient Care Center following a lengthy illness. Daughter of Linda (Lichtsinn) and the late Carlie Hicks, she was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on December 25, 1972, and was 49 years of age at the time of her passing. She was a former employee of Druthers Restaurant and was of the Christian faith. Mrs. Karnes had an independent spirit, but took every available opportunity to help someone in need.

   She was preceded in death by a daughter, Ann Marie Hewitt, her father, Carlie Hicks, and a sister, Kimberly Hicks.

   She leaves to cherish her memory:

   Her mother and stepfather: Linda and Terry Hohn,

   Two children: Cartina Hewitt and Johnathon Hewitt,

   Her spouse: Darrell “D.L.” Karnes,

   Four siblings: Kevin Hicks, Jason Hicks, Paul Jones, and Michelle Couch,

   Four grandchildren: Cheyenne, Isaiah, Noah, and Kaiser,

   Fourteen nieces and nephews,

   And a host of other family members and friends.

   At the request of Mrs. Karnes, cremation was accorded her by the L.R. Petty Funeral Home and Cremation Service. There are no public services scheduled.
