Timothy Hugh Johnson

   Mr. Timothy Hugh “Timmy” Johnson of Campbellsville passed from this life on Thursday, August 13, 2020 at his home. Born on January 19, 1960 to the late Rex and Hilda (Gribbins) Johnson Cleaver, he was 60 years, 6 months, and 25 days of age. He was a former employee of Price’s Grocery and a lifelong farmer. When he wasn’t working, he could usually be found at a dirt track or cutting a rug somewhere where good music was playing.

He leaves to cherish his memory:

   Five children: Kathy Michelle McNear-Quintana and husband Julio of Louisville, Patricia Lynn Cox and companion Timothy W. Curry of Campbellsville, Sherry Nicole Davis and husband Shane of Campbellsville, James Timothy Lewis McNear of Knifley, and Jason Paul “JJ” Johnson and companion Latasha Schichtel of Lebanon,

   His wife: Jenny Stotts Johnson of Campbellsville, 

   One sister: Beverly Johnson of Campbellsville,

   Fourteen grandchildren: Devin Lucas, Neal Upchurch, Jr, Kiara Quintana, Vincent Quintana, Jamie Cox Morris, Chris Cox, Jayden Cox, Jayline Williams, Travon Williams, Anna Davis, Jasmine Davis, Brooklyn Davis, Zachary Johnson and Natilie Johnson.

   Four great-grandchildren: Elizabeth Hope Cox, Ezra Alexander Morris, McKinley River Page, Paisley Mae Burchett.

   An expectant great-granddaughter,

   And a host of other family and friends.

   He was also preceded in death by two children, Joseph Johnson and Michael Johnson, and a granddaughter, Kasey Michelle Upchurch.

   There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Johnson on Sunday, August 16, 2020 at 2:00 PM EST in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Interment will follow in the Mt. Washington Cemetery, Highway 527, Taylor County.

   The family will receive friends for a walk-through visitation at the funeral home on Sunday, August 16, from 11:00 AM EST until time for the service.
