Tiffani AiAnna "Tiff" Graves of Newport Richey, Florida, formerly of Taylor County, Kentucky, entered her eternal rest on December 4, 2021 at the age of 40 years, 1 month, and days. She was born October 25, 1981 to Nereevah A. Ballanger and Richard A. Gerton. Tiffani was the firstborn grandchild to George and Betty Jean Graves, and the first great-grandchild to Edward and Anna Belle Graves. Ms. Graves was an entrepreneur, and owned and operated three restaurants in Tampa, Florida with her friend and partner of over ten years, John Davis. She was a 2000 honor graduate and homecoming queen of Atherton High School in Louisville, Kentucky. She was a 2004 graduate of Fisk University in Nashville, Tennessee, where she earned a bachelors degree. Tiff played basketball, softball, and track, and was a liturgical dancer. Tiffani received numerous awards, honors, and achievements throughout her life, including a scholoarship award from United Negro College Fund. Tiffani was a vibrant, uplifting, sweet, caring, oving, beautiful precious soul, and a real spiritual woman. She was very passionate in life, always smiling, and wanted to make everyone happy. She confessed her life to Christ at an early age and was a member of Pleasant Unioin Baptist Church in Campbellsville, Kentucky. She had unconditional love and adored her parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents. She loved all her family and friends. Tiffani loved to do Bible journaling, reading and walking, and inspiring others to do much more. Tiffani touched many people’s lives in many ways.
Tiffani is preceded in death by her grandparents, George and Betty Jean Graves, and Norris and Ann Gerton; her great-grandparents, Edward and Anna Belle Graves; and a sister, Erin Ballanger.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her mother and father, Nereevah A. Ballanger of Campbellsville, KY, and Richard A. Gerton and wife Jean of Homer, LA; her siblings, Robert Lee Ballanger, III and wife Haley of Richmond, KY, Vanessa Clark of Springfield, KY, Rafeal Ballanger of Louisville, KY; a nephew, Christian Williams of Springfield, KY; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Ms. Graves on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at1:00 PM in the sanctuary of the Pleasant Union Baptist Church, 426 Fallen Timber Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Rev. Michael Caldwell will be officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends a the church on Wednesday, Dec. 15, from 11:00 AM until time for the service.
