Scott Lynn Cox

Scott Lynn Cox, the son of the Cindy (Hoosier) Cox and the late Warren Cox was born November 9, 1990 in Taylor County, KY and departed this life on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 in Campbellsville at the Taylor Regional Hospital. He was 30 years of age.

          He was a former grill cook and was of the Baptist Faith.

          Scott enjoyed fishing, bowling, making people laugh with his witty humor and spending time with family and friends.

          Survivors include: his mother and step-father: Cindy McKinney and husband Kelly of Greensburg; a daughter: Lia Cox of Campbellsville; a sister and brother: Courtney Hamilton and husband Ben of Campbellsville and Ryen Cox of Elk Horn; two step-brothers and sister: Cody and Jody McKinney Greensburg and Krissy Bruner of Frankfort; his grandmother: Betty Hoosier of Elk Horn; three nieces and a nephew: Bryleigh Wheet, Levi Brady, Lilyana Hamiliton and Tatum Hamilton and a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral service for Scott Lynn Cox will be Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Jones Chapel Cemetery.

Bro. Alex Cox will be officiating.

Family requests visitation after 11:00 until time for the service.
