Roscoe Franklin Beard

Roscoe Franklin Beard, was born July 3, 1937 in Harriman, Tennessee and departed this life on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 in Campbellsville at his home. He was 83 years of age.

    He was an employee of Walmart in Columbia and was of the Baptist faith.

    Roscoe enjoyed fishing, watching football, taking care of his horses and watching western movies.

    He is survived by his wife: Liza (Lasley) Beard of Campbellsville; a son: Christopher Beard of Campbellsville; eight grandchildren; two brothers-in-law: Howard Lasley of Franklin, Indiana and Dewey Lasley of Campbellsville.

    The funeral service for Roscoe Franklin will be private with burial to follow in the Callahan Cemetery.

    A public visitation will be from 5-8 PM on Sunday at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home.
