Ronnie Louis Sexton

Ronald Louis “Ronnie” Sexton, of Campbellsville, the son of the late Tom and Rheta (Wheat) Sexton was born June 14, 1952 in taylor County and departed this life on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 in Elizabethtown at the Baptist Health Hardin. He was 70 years of age.

          He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Lowell Avenue Baptist Church and was a Veteran, having served in the Army National Guard and was retired from Fruit of the Loom.

          Ronnie, as he was mostly called enjoyed baseball, bowling and spending time with family.

          He united in marriage to Debra Sapp, who survives.

          Survivors include his wife: Debbie Sexton; a son: Christopher and wife Destini; a sister: Beverly Taylor and one expectant grandson: Cullen Sexton; two sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law: Denise and Tony Reynolds, Dinah and Jon Leibeck, Tim and Michelle Sapp and a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral service for Ronnie Sexton will be Saturday, September 24, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Brookside Cemetery.

Bro. David Griesemer will be officiating.

Family requests visitation after 11:00 A.M. Saturday until time for the service.

Memorials are suggested to the expectant grandson's savings account which can be made at the funeral home or at any Community Trust Bank.
