Roger Dale Willis

   Mr. Roger Dale Willis, son of the late Richard Ray and Mary Belle (Gunter) Willis, was born in Taylor County on September 27, 1952. He departed this life on Sunday, November 15, 2020 at his home in Campbellsville after an extended illness. He was 68 years, 1 month, and 19 days of age. Mr. Willis was a retired employee of the City of Campbellsville, and the cherished husband of Mrs. Peggy (Beckley) Willis, who survives. He was a devoted father and grandfather; he loved the outdoors, and was especially fond of the time he spent hunting or fishing with his children and grandchildren.

   Alongside his wife, he leaves to carry his legacy:

   Two children: Richard Willis and wife Jennifer, and Regina Kildow and husband Ryan,

   Two brothers: Lonnie Willis and wife Lois, and Ronnie Willis and wife Louise,

   Four grandchildren: Will Kildow, Daniel Hutchens, Emily Willis, and Ashlyn Ensminger,

   And a host of other family and friends.

   The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. At the request of Mr. Willis, a private funeral service for family will follow. He will be laid to rest in the Green River Memorial Baptist Cemetery. Bro. Steve Orr will be officiating.
