Mrs. Phyllis Hoosier of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Elmer and Haline (Wethington) Hoosier, was born on June 7, 1954. She departed this life on Sunday, April 25, 2021 at her home, being 67 years, 10 months, and 18 days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Hoosier was a former machine operator, and was employed at Fruit of the Loom and Campbellsville Apparel. Although never having children of her own, she loved her nieces and nephews as if they were, and left a positive impact in their lives.
She leaves to cherish her memory:
A sister: Annette Marcum and husband Mike of Campbellsville,
Four nieces and nephews: Lori Rawlings, Jeannie Tungate, Sherri Holtzclaw, and Tim Marcum,
And several other family members and friends.
She was also preceded in death by three siblings: Elmer “Buddy” Hoosier, Jr., Eugene Hoosier, and Bernadine Hoosier; a nephew: Kevin Rawlings, Sr.; and a great nephew: Zachary Harris.
There will be a graveside service to honor the life of Mrs. Hoosier on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 10:00 AM in the Jones Chapel Cemetery. Interment will immediately follow.
