Opal Faye Judd of Campbellsville, the daughter of the late Omer Lee and Marie Irene (Sullivan) Smothers Pike was born August 5, 1945 in Taylor County, KY and departed this life on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at the Taylor Regional Hospital. She was 76 years of age.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist Faith.
She was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom, having worked thirty-two years and twenty years for Creekside Restaurant.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters: Melvin Pike, Kenneth Pike, Catherine Pike, Mary Ann Clark, and Edna Reed.
She united in marriage to Paul Judd on March 21, 1986, who survives.
Also surviving is a daughter: Rita Dorman and husband Chuck of Liberty; a son: Stacey Loy and wife Anissa of Campbellsville; four grandchildren: Derek Dorman, Brandon Graham, Brittany Loy, and companion Jonathan Riggs, and Cody Edwards; her great-grandchildren: Ruby Edwards, Konnor Skaggs, Karstyn Skaggs, and Parker Loy; her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Faye Veatch and Roger Pike, both of Campbellsville, Irene Wolgram of Las Vegas, Martin Judd of Germany, and Sharon Pike of Knifley; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends, including her Creekside Restaurant Family.
The funeral service for Opal Faye Judd will be conducted Saturday, June 18, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Green River Memorial Cemetery.
Bro. Ronnie Dooley will be officiating.
Family requests visitation from 5-8 PM on Friday and after 8:00 A.M. on Saturday at the funeral home.
