Mr. Norman Richard Corbin of Campbellsville passed from this life on Friday, November 5, 2021 at the University of Louisville Hospital. Born in Adair County on March 10, 1934 to the late Phillip and Geneva (Phillips) Corbin, he was 87 years, 7 months, and 26 days of age. He was a lifelong farmer. Mr. Corbin had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a faithful member of Green River Memorial Baptist Church. Mr. Corbin was the devoted husband of Mrs. Mary Lou (Hedgespeth) Corbin, who survives. He was an excellent dad and a proud grandfather, and leaves a legacy of love and kindness in his wake.
He is survived by:
His wife: Mary Corbin,
Two children: Richard Allen Corbin and Sharon Robertson and husband Gary, all of Campbellsville,
Two grandchildren: Brandon Scott Keifer and significant other Destiny Atkinson, and Abby Pedigo,
Three great-grandchildren: Lila Regan Keifer, Adalyn Pedigo, and Ansley Pedigo,
And a host of other family and friends.
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Betty Jo Corbin Silas.
There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Corbin on Monday, November 8, 2021, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Bro. Jamie Bennett will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Brookside Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, Nov. 8, from 11:00 AM until time for the service.
