Naomi O. Zook, 61, of the Mannsville Community, in Taylor County, KY, died peacefully at her residence on Sunday, April 17, 2022 surrounded by her husband and children. She was born August 11, 1960 In Oakland, Maryland to Owen and Edna Swartzentruber. Naomi was a member of the Old Order Amish Church and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her father, Owen, and a sister, Anna. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, William E. Zook, and children Elmer Joseph (local) and friend Leah Fern Yoder, and Ruth Elizabeth (Lewistown, Montana) and friend Owen Jay Weaver, her mother: Edna Swartzentruber (Union Grove, North Carolina), a sister: Lydia Yoder (local) and husband Willie, one brother: Simon Swartzentruber (Union Grove, North Carolina), and a host of extended family and friends.
There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Zook on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at 2175 Bradfordsville Rd, Campbellsville, KY at 9:30 AM with John Henry Mast officiating. Burial will follow in the Mannsville Amish Cemetery. Jesse Yoder, Titus Yoder, Thomas Yoder, Stephen Yoder, Matthew Swartzentruber, and Daniel Yoder will serve as pallbearers.
Vistation will be held at 2175 Bradfordsville Rd on Monday, Apr. 18, from 2:00-6:00 PM, and on Tuesday, Apr. 19, from 9:30 AM-7:00 PM.
