Mrs. Margaret Jewell Stults of Campbellsville was born in Adair County on July 27, 1930 to the late William E. Bailey and Nona (Roy) Bailey. She departed this life on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 in Campbellsville at the Grandview Rehab Center, being 89 years, 7 months and 5 days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a faithful member of Meadowview Baptist Church. Mrs. Stults was a homemaker and the cherished wife of Mr. Edward Coffey Stults, who preceded her in death on December 19, 2010.
She was also preceded in death by three sisters and six brothers: Frances Wettington and Audrey Jones, and Billie B. Hensley, James and Rollin Bailey, Carl and Elba (Pete) Bailey, Jack Bailey and Orbie Bailey.
She is survived by seven nieces and seven nephews: Brenda Moran, Suzy Bracey, Judy Murphy, Barbara Combs, Debbie Whitehead, Patricia and Joanie Bailey. Michael White and wife, Sharon, Gary White, Carl Bailey, Howard Durham, Robert Hensley, Harvey Hensley, Roger Bailey.
Survived also by many great nieces/nephews, extended family members and friends. A special faithful friend, Sharon Reese.
There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Stults on Friday, March 6, 2020 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Bro. Brent Gupton, Bro. Roger Wolfe, and Suzy Bracey will be officiating.
She will be laid to rest with her husband in the Lebanon National Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, March 5, from 5:00-8:00 PM.
