Margaret Faye Murphy of Campbellsville, the daughter of the late Walter and Catherine (White) Waggner, was born October 22, 1940 in Taylor County, KY and departed this life on Monday, February 8, 2021 in Liberty at the Casey County Hospital. She was 80 years of age.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville Church of the Nazarene where she was a former youth leader.
She was retired from Westlake Primary Care in Columbia and was the former owner of M&M Ceramics.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Thomas Murphy, a brother: Charles Waggner and a sister: Alien Chelf.
She is survived by a daughter: Marsha Silas of Campbellsville; a sister: Nellie Cox of Elk Horn ; a brother: Louis Waggner of Campbellsville; two grandchildren: Jonathan Silas and Christopher Silas; a great-grandchild: Madison Silas and a host of other relatives and friends.
A public graveside service for Margaret Fay Murphy will be conducted Friday, February 12, 2021 at 3:00 P.M. at the Elk Horn Cemetery on Elk Horn Loop off Hwy 76 in Taylor County. Rev. David Young will be officiating.
There will be no visitation prior to the service.
