Mr. Lowell Thomas Edwards was born on June 10, 1962 in Louisville, and departed this life on May 11, 2021 at his home in Campbellsville. He was 58 years, 11 months, and 1 day of age. Mr. Edwards had professed faith in Christ and was a member of Freedom Baptist Church. He was a former employee of Jones Sealing Company and Independent Muffler Shop. His cheerful demeanor was contagious; he was known to regularly sing the lines of the Bobby McFerrin song, “Don’t worry, be happy!”
He leaves to cherish his memory:

Six children: Thomas Edwards, Trent Edwards and wife Jessy, Drake Edwards, Savannah Edwards, Tony Edwards, and Sierra Lynch and fiance Michael Matney,
Nine grandchildren: Little Joe Edwards, Kira Edwards, Jordon Coffey, Kinsley Good, April Edwards, T.J. Edwards, Aubree Foster, Braxton Walker, and Peyton Walker,
Three siblings: Roseanne Clark and husband Ronnie of Campbellsville, Raymond O'Rafferty of Louisville, and Virginia Marin and husband Javier of Springfield,
Two half siblings: Joyce Edwards and Dorothy Edwards, both of Leitchfield,
Four step-siblings: Louise Ford and husband Darrell, Debbie Cox and husband Jerry, and Juanita Tucker and husband Johnny, all of Campbellsville,
And a host of other extended family and friends.

His parents, Luther Howard and Margarette (Sidwell) Edwards,
One nephew: Eric Edwards,
Five siblings: Robert O'Rafferty, William O'Rafferty, Donald O'Rafferty, Ruth Ann O'Rafferty, and Lucas “Duke” Edwards,
Two half siblings: Kenneth Edwards and Billy Gene Edwards,
And a step sister: Sharon Sherrell.
Mr. Edwards had requested cremation and entrusted the L.R. Petty Funeral Home and Cremation Service with those arrangements. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
