Lewis Cox Obituary

Lewis Muriel Cox, the son of the late Hubert and Evelyn (Noel) Cox, was born November 20, 1944 in Indiana and departed this life on Monday, January 4, 2021 in Danville at the Ephraim McDowell Hospital. He was 76 years of age.

He attended the South Campbellsville Baptist Church and was a fix-it man.

He is survived by a daughter and two sons: Tammie (Jessie) Creason, Randy (Justin) Cox and Jason Noel, all of Campbellsville; six siblings: Patsy McDonald, Timmy Cox, Peggy Gilbert, Carroll Cox, Lana Pendleton and Doris Williams; four grandchildren: Brandon Moss, Curtis Moss, T.J. Moss and Jennifer Bault; twelve great-grandchildren and one expectant great-grandchild; his companion: Maxine Hale of Liberty and a host of other relatives and friends.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by the following siblings: David Cox, J.V. Cox, Retta Noel, Wendell Cox, Ronnie Cox, Sherry Cox, Mitchell Cox, Roger Cox, Jimmy Cox, Brenda Cox Jerry Cox and Bobby Cox.

ALL SERVICES will be PRIVATE.

Interment in the Jones Chapel Cemetery
