Laura Cox Obituary

Laura Jean Cox, of Campbellsville, the daughter of the late Berry Cox and Christine Bottoms Cox, was born May 22, 1948, in Campbellsville, KY, and departed this life on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at her residence. She was 75 years of age.

She was a former employee of General Electric and enjoyed reading and spending time with family.

She is survived by one daughter: Sharon Hayes. Also five grandchildren: Jason Hayes, James Clements, Matthew Clements, Hannah Hayes, and Ethan Hayes. Three great-grandchildren: Griffin Hayes, Jacob Hayes, and Case Clements; a sister, Mary Gray, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Keith Cox, one son: Dewayne Hayes, and five brothers and sisters: Earl Cox, Shelby Cox, Dannie Cox, Dorlene Cox Perkins, and Darrell Cox.

Mrs. Cox requested a direct burial in the Jones Chapel Cemetery and there will be no services.
