Lannon "Junior" Cox Obituary
Mr. Lannon Mitchell Cox, Jr., of Campbellsville, the son of Shirley (Greer) Cox and the late Lannon Mitchell Cox, Sr. was born January 3, 1968 in Taylor County and departed this life on Sunday, September 19, 2021 in Campbellsville at the Taylor Regional Hospital. He was 53 years of age.
He was and Environmental Consultant for J&M Monitoring.
He is survived by:
His wife: Jane (Carter) Cox of Campbellsville;
His mother: Shirley (Greer) Cox of Campbellsville;
His children: Justin Cox and wife Anne Taylor of Loretto, Erica Cox and fiancé Joie Ewing of Campbellsville, Joshua Buck and wife Tessa of Lebanon, and Justin Buck, Rachael Dobson and husband Adam, and Natalie Burton and husband Daniel, all of Campbellsville;
Eight grandchildren,
And a host of other relatives and friends.
Besides his father, he was preceded in death by his brother: Bryan Todd Cox in 2021.
The funeral service for Junior Cox will be conducted Thursday at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with interment in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Visitation from 5-8 P.M. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Bro. Michael Goodwin will be officiating.
