Kenneth Eugene Wilson

   Mr. Kenneth Eugene “Kenny Bob” Wilson of Campbellsville passed from this life on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at the Green Hill Nursing and Rehab Facility after an extended illness. Born on December 30, 1937 to the late Simpson Grady and Julie Ann (Hughes) Wilson, he was 83 years, 8 months, and 22 days of age. Mr. Wilson was a well-regarded concrete finisher with a passion for the outdoors. He was noted huntsman and loved trading coins and Indian artifacts. His wife, Mrs. Shirley (Meadows) Wilson, preceded him in death in 2010.

He leaves to cherish his memory:

   Three children: Sherry Wilson and Dean Wilson, both of Elizabethtown, and Dennis Wilson and his wife: Christa of Campbellsville,

   A sister: Imogene Raisor of Pleasureville,

   Nine grandchildren: Jonathan Wilson, Jessica Adkins, Dakota Wilson, Damon Wilson, Andrea Edwards, Savanna Edwards, Dillion Wilson, Stanna Wilson, and Sophia Wilson,

   Four great-grandchildren: Abram Adkins, Norah Adkins, Zavia Wilson, and Lily Wilson,

   And a host of extended family and friends.

   He was also preceded in death by two siblings, Fred Thomas “Freddie” Wilson and Rita Mae Thompson.

   There will be a funeral service to honor Kenny Bob’s life on Friday, September 24, 2021 at 1:00 PM EDT (12:00 PM CDT) in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Interment will follow in the Maple Hill Cemetery, South Thurlow Rd, Greensburg, KY.

   The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, September 24, from 10:00 AM EDT (9:00 AM CDT) until time for the service.
