James Harold Harrison Obituary

Mr. James Harold Harrison of Campbellsville was born in Casey County on January 8, 1939 to the late Grover Floyd and Beatrice Louise ( Belton) Harrison. He departed this life on Monday, March 2, 2020 in Campbellsville at the Taylor Regional Hospital, being 81 years, 1 month, and 23 days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church.

Mr. Harrison was a former employee of General Electric and a car salesman. He kept a sharp lookout for a bargain, and loved to trade around, mostly knives and other small trinkets. Always family oriented, he especially enjoyed the time he was able to spend with his grandbabies and friends.

He leaves to mourn his passing:

His wife: Mrs. Juanita Kay (Sexton) Harrison,

Two daughters: Lisa Bryant and husband Barry, and Debbie Beard and husband Kelvin, all of Campbellsville,

Five grandchildren: Michella Bryant, Michael Bryant, Greg Beard, Anthony Beard, and Mark Mann,

   Six great-grandchildren,

And a host of other family and friends.

He was also preceded in death by two children: Janet Mann and Junior Harrison.

There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Harrison on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at 6:00 PM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, Campbellsville. Bro Steve Willis will be officiating. At the request of Mr. Harrison, cremation will be accorded him after the service.
