James Ray Pierce

   Mr. James Ray Pierce of Louisville, formerly of Magnolia, passed from this life on Monday, December 14, 2020, being 63 years of age. He was born on December 25, 1957 to the late James and Betty Jean (Pruitt) Pierce. Although his natural family was small, he loved - and was loved in return by - most people that he met. Mr. Pierce was a cherished resident of the Pillar community, where he had lived since May of 2007, and had become a close friend to both the staff and the residents.

   He is survived by an aunt and uncle: Clyde and Rebecca Pruitt of Campbellsville,

   And several extended family members and friends.

   A public visitation will be held on Friday, December 18, 2020 from 11:00 AM until 12:30 PM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. He will be laid to rest beside his mother in the Benningfield Chapel Cemetery in Magnolia at 2:00 PM.
