Ginny Lyn Olbers

   Ginny Lyn Olbers, of Rineyville, formerly of Campbellsville, was born June 1, 1975 in Athens, Ohio and passed away Friday, April 8, 2022 in Rineyville. She was 46 years of age.

   She had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended East Campbellsville Church of God as a young lady. She was a hairdresser and a natural-health nutritionist. She was a very creative soul and had an eye for beauty.

   Survivors include her parents: Gary and Christia “Connie” (Phillips) Gilpin of Campbellsville; a son: Denver Coleman Olbers of Campbellsville; and a  grandson: Denver Griffin Olbers.

   Also surviving is a sister: Heather Dawn Olbers of Bardstown; Herb Brown, her companion of Elizabethtown; her grandparents: Virginia Bowles of Mannsville, Robert and Suzann Phillips, and Margaret Ann Graybeal, all of Campbellsville.

   She was preceded in death by her grandfather: George Cecil Gilpin.

   The funeral service for Ginny Lyn Olbers will be Friday, April 15, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home. Bro. Brian Spencer will officiate.

   Family requests visitation from 5-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
