Gary Paul Heinbaugh

Mr. Gary Paul Heinbaugh passed peacefully from this life on Monday, January 2, 2023 in Louisville at Baptist Health. Born in Altoona, PA to the late Merle Elvin Heinbaugh and Helen Louise Baker Heinbaugh on April 15, 1961, he was 61 years of age at the time of his death. He was of the Catholic faith. Mr. Heinbaugh served his country honorably in the United States Army and had served in Somalia and had received numerous commendations. Mr. Heinbaugh was retired from the Veterans Administration - Grayson County CBOC where he worked as a nurse. He leaves to cherish his memory:

His wife: Patricia Ann Reed Heinbaugh

One daughter: Britney Marie Hutcheson and husband Nick of Bowling Green, KY

Five sisters: Catherine Louise McKee and husband Barry, E. Jane Millward and husband Jerry, Carol Ann Stevens, Patricia L. Gauthier and husband Don, and Susan M. Golden and husband Sam.

One Grandson: Gavyn Hutcheson and an expected granddaughter Selene Hutcheson

His Mother-in-Law: Mary Reed

A chosen son: Cody Salsman

His service dog: Meeko

And a host of other relatives and friends.

There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Gary Paul Heinbaugh on Friday, January 6, 2023 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home in Campbellsville, KY, the Rev. Wilburn Bonta officiating. Burial will follow in the Lebanon National Cemetery will full military honors by the Marion County DAV Honor Guard.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 6, 2023 at 10:00 AM until time for the service.
