Elaine Lela Underwood

   Mrs. Elaine Lela Underwood of Campbellsvillepassed from this life on Friday, February 14, 2020 at the Grandview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after an illness. Born to Otis and Iva (Thompson) Underwood on June 18, 1947, she was 72 years, 7 months, and 27 days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Christian faith. She was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom and GTE.

She leaves to mourn her passing:

   One son: Jared Underwood of Campbellsville,

   Two sisters: Linda Sue Herron of Campbellsville and Dorothy Pennington of Mannsville,

   Two grandchildren: Katlyn Underwood and Colin Underwood,

   One great-grandchild: Cadence James,

   And a host of other family and friends.

   She was also preceded in death by two sisters: Martha Maupin and Jane Short.

   At the request of Mrs. Underwood, she will be laid to rest privately in the Tallow Creek Cemetery.
