David Wilhoit

   Mr. James David Wilhoit of Campbellsville passed from this life on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at his home after an illness. Born on June 19, 1996 to Connie (Warren) and the late James Douglas Wilhoit, he was 24 years and 6 months of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Mt. Roberts Baptist Church. David’s life was life fraught with debilitating illnesses, yet he rarely complained. Instead, he loved to spend time with his family, and was often pulling practical jokes on them and his friends. He enjoyed listening to music and trading guns and trucks, and was a competitive online gamer.

   He leaves to cherish his memory:

   His mother: Connie Wilhoit,

   Five siblings: Jessica Lotter and husband Jeremy, Jeremy Wilhoit and wife Bridgett, Stephanie Wiliamson and husband Craig, Danielle Wilhoit and fiancee John Johnson, and Nick Burress,

   His grandmother: Sue Warren,

   Nieces and nephews: Dakota Lotter, Jesse Lotter, Alexis Lobb, Ashley Wilhoit, Samantha Wilhoit, and Addison Wilhoit,

   A special uncle and aunt: Mark and Kathy Warren,

   And a host of extended family and friends.

   There will be a funeral service to honor David’s life on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Bro. Dale Warren and Bro. Mike Woodrum will be officiating. Burial will follow in the M-W-L Cemetery in Taylor County.

   The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, Dec. 22, from 10:00 AM until time for the service.
