Charles Boston Obituary

   Mr. Charles Kenton “Bo” Boston of Greenwood, Indiana, passed peacefully from this life on Sunday, March 15, 2020. Born in Barren County on February 13, 1939 to the late Ola and Bernice (Hood) Boston, he was 81 years, 1 month, and 2 days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Boston worked over 30 years as a sheet metal fabricator. After his retirement, he pursued his passion for producing and growing flowers by opening Boston’s Greenhouse, a successful landscape and garden center.

   He leaves to mourn his passing:

   Three children: Sharon Teresa Boston of Greenwood, IN, Richard Kenton Boston and wife Susan of Greenwood, IN, and James Shannon Boston and wife Joanie of Martinsville, IN,

   Three siblings: Korine Whitley of Campbellsville, Kodelia Swears of Mt. Washington, and Robert Boston of Campbellsville,

   A sister-in-law: Linda Boston of Campbellsville,

   Seven grandchildren: Alexandra Denise Weisbrod and husband Tucker, Courtney Faith Petty and husband Jack, Chelsea Lee Harty and husband Luke, Nicholas Charles Boston and wife Anjuli, Shelby Diane Rowe and husband Jonathon, James Quenton Boston, and Brandon Caleb Boston,

   Five great-grandchildren: Landon Scott Bell, Jemma Mae Harty, Greyson Nicholas Bell, Cashel Luke Harty, and Henry Charles Boston,

   And a host of extended family and friends.

   He was also preceded in death by five siblings: Kay Hobbs, Kathryn Arvin, Kenneth Boston, Koretta Johnson, and D.K. “Bud” Boston.

   There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Boston on Thursday, March 19, 2020 at 1:00 PM EST (12:00 PM CST) in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY with cremation to follow. His ashes will be laid to rest at a later date in the Boston Cemetery, Liberty-Lawson Rd, Hardyville, KY.

   The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, Mar. 19, after 11:30 AM (10:30 AM CST) until time for the service.
