Mr. Brian Thomas Allen of Campbellsville passed from this life on Thursday, May 28, 2020 at his home. He was born to the late Thomas and Aileen (Hedgespeth) Allen on September 27, 1960, and was 59 years, 8 months, and 1 day of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Salem Baptist Church. Mr. Allen was a former employee of the Taylor County School District, where he had worked several years in the maintenance department. He was an avid outdoorsman, and enjoyed hunting and fishing as often as his health allowed.
He leaves to mourn his passing:
Three sisters: Letha Davidson, Regina Thompson and husband Freddy, and Shelia Warren, all of Campbellsville,
A special cousin: James Ray Hedgespeth,
One aunt: Kathryn Garnett of Campbellsville,
One uncle: Donald Underwood of Campbellsville,
Nieces and nephew: Natalie Hall, Nathan Thompson, and Courtney Mikel,
Three great-nephews: Oliver Jonas Mikel, William Thomas Mikel, and Jamison Brock Thompson,
And several other family members and friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother: David Ingram Allen.
A socially-distanced funeral service with state mandated guidelines will be on Sunday, May 31, 2020 at 4:00 PM EST (3:00 PM CST) at the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, Mt. Carmel Church Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Bro. Freddy Thompson will be officiating.
The family will receive friends at the church on Sunday, May 31, 2020 from 3:00 PM EST (2:00 PM CST) until time for the service.
