Bobby Akin Obituary

Bobby Gene Akin of Campbellsville, formerly of Green County, the son of the late Walter and Elsie (Combs) Akin, was born August 21, 1955 in Warren County, KY and departed this life on Monday at his home.

He was a carpenter and was of the Methodist faith.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son: David Akin; a brother: Donald Ray Akin and a sister: Sarah Lucille Moran.

Survivors include a daughter: Donna McClister and husband Donnie; a step-grandson: Stanley McClister; his longtime partner: Linda Seaver and her daughters: Dr. Cassandra Stephens and her husband William and their son: Tyler Stephens of Campbellsville; and Joanna Morong and husband Brian and their daughter: Emily and husband Ruben all of Texas; a sister: Janette Milby and a host of other relatives and friends.
