Billy Price

   Mr. William Hobert “Billy” Price, age 76, of Campbellsville, passed peacefully from this life on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at his home following a lengthy illness. He was born in Taylor County on June 16, 1945 to the late Clarence Henry and Elizabeth Mae (Nelson) Price. He had made a profession in Christ and was a faithful member of the Campbellsville Church of the Nazarene. He understood the value of hard work and living within one's means, and exemplified both traits daily. He was a loyal and loving father, husband, brother, and friend, and will be missed by many.

   He leaves to mourn his passing:

   His wife: Diane (Pollard) Price,

   Six children: William Dale Price and wife Amanda, Dennis Adam Price and wife Tina, Johnny Davis Price and wife Julie, Jeremiah Davis Price and wife Amanda, Matt Davis Price and wife Tina, and Steve Davis Price and wife Selina,

   Three sisters: Evelyn Dile, Linda Rooker, and Kathy Tucker and husband Willard,

   Twelve grandchildren,

   Thirteen great-grandchildren,

   Close friends: Clem Haskins, and Bro. and Sis. Hale,

   And a host of other family and friends.

   Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister: Shirley “Boots” Perkins; three brothers: David “Doc” Hughes, Coleman Price, and Marvin Price; and a brother-in-law: Kenneth Dile.

   There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Billy Price on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Mt. Washington Cemetery.

   The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, Nov. 7, 2021, from 10:00 AM until time for the service.
