Mrs. Betty Lou James of Columbia, formerly of Campbellsville, passed from this life on Friday, April 24, 2020 in Glasgow at the T.J. Samson Community Hospital after an illness. Born on November 15, 1940 in Casey County to the late Fred and Pearl (Reece) Short, she was 79 years, 5 months, and 9 days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Campbellsville, and was a homemaker.

She leaves to cherish her memory:

Six children: Sandra Davis and husband Charles of South Carolina, Lora Grace of Albany, David James and wife Kelly of Campbellsville, Leah James of Greensburg, Frank James and wife Ashley of Campbellsville, and Elizabeth Wilson and husband Gary of Virginia,

Eight grandchildren,

One great-grandchild,

And a host of other family and friends.

Mrs. James had requested cremation. All services were performed privately.
