William David Hedrick Obituary

Dr. William David Hedrick of Campbellsville was born in Martin, Tennessee, on August 30, 1944 to the late John Charles, Sr. and Christine Lenore (Jones) Hedrick. He departed this life on Sunday, August 18, 2019 in Glasgow at the T.J. Samson Medical Center following an extended illness. He was 74 years, 11 months, and 19 days of age. Dr. Hedrick had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. He was a talented and respected professor of music at Campbellsville University until his health necessitated his retirement.

He leaves to cherish his memory:

   Four siblings: Charles Hedrick, Jr. and wife Sharon of Campbellsville, Donnie Hedrick and wife Joan of Owen County, Susie Garrett and husband George of Jefferson County, and Kathy Reuter of Campbellsville,

   Many friends in Shelby County,

   The Campbellsville University faculty and friends,

   And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other friends.

   He was also preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Terry Reuter.

   Dr. Hedrick chose to be cremated and entrusted those arrangements with the L.R. Petty Funeral Home and Cremation Service. His ashes will be laid to rest with his parents in the Pleasureville Cemetery in Henry County at a later date.

   All memorial service times will be announced at a later date.
