Joshua (Josh) Brent Kelley of Campbellsville, formerly of Elliott County, Kentucky and Great Falls, Montana departed too soon from this earth on May 29, 2019. Born on June 17, 1980 in Lexington, Kentucky to Billy Dale and Carol Ann Nunley Kelley (Blair), he was 37 years, 11 months and 12 days of age.
He was a kind-hearted, loving and giving man that never met a stranger that he wouldn’t give the shirt off his back for. He had an infectious smile and laugh that will be missed by many. He was proud of his southern heritage and loved the outdoors. His roots were in Kentucky but he enjoyed time in Montana where he made many friends and acquaintances. He fell in love with the Oregon Coast while visiting there on vacation. He enjoyed antiques and other collectibles and was an avid animal lover.
He is preceded in death by his father, Billy Dale Kelley.
He leaves to cherish his memory:
His companion, Wendy Hudson; his mother, Carol Ann Blair and her husband, David Blair; a son, Dakotah Kelley and his mother Cathy Kelley; a brother, Justin Kelley; two step-brothers, Chris Blair and Charles Blair; two sisters, Tammi Kelley and Chris Skaggs; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and countless friends.
At the request of the family, cremation rites were entrusted to the L.R. Petty Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Campbellsville.
No immediate services are planned.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association in Josh’s memory to honor Josh’s love for his father.
