Herman Warren Obituary

Bro. Herman Ray Warren of Campbellsville was born in Larue County on June 21, 1931 to the late Everett E. and Pearl (Cundiff) Warren. He departed this life on Thursday, January 9, 2020 in Campbellsville at the Grandview Nursing and Rehab Center, being 88 years, 6 months, and 19 days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a minister and teacher of the Baptist faith. In his earlier years, he had been employed at the Brown and Williams Tobacco Company, Kentucky Trailers, and was a farmer. He loved his God deeply, and never let the fog of time cloud his love for his wife, Mrs. Flossie (Keith) Warren, and the rest of his family.

He leaves to cherish his memory:

Five children: Linda RIley and husband Steve of Louisville, Brenda Roberts and husband Keith of Louisville, Gayle Cox and husband Stevie of Campbellsville, Carolyn Thompson and husband Billy of Campbellsville, and Roger Warren of Campbellsville,

One sister: Kathy Crume and husband James of Hodgenville,

   Ten grandchildren,

   Twenty great-grandchildren,

   One great-great grandchild,

And a host of other family and friends.

He was also preceded in death by his wife: Mrs. Flossie Warren; two children: James McNear and Randall Leon Warren; four siblings: Harvey Warren, Joseph Warren, Myrtle Bell, and Paul Warren; and four grandchildren: Lauren McCall Thompson, Paul Dewayne Sprowles, Chase Warren, and Whitley Warren.

There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Bro. Warren on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Bro. Freddy Thompson will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
