Floyd Truax Obituary

Mr. Floyd Ray Truax of Greensburg was born in Jefferson County on July 18, 1954 to the late Marvin and Mary Kathrine (Montgomery) Truax. He departed this life on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at the Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville, being 65 years and 13 days of age. He was a former truck driver.

He leaves to mourn his passing:

One son: Damon Ray Truax of Taylor County,

Eight siblings: Anna Huffman and husband Mark of Shelbyville, James “Bo” Truax of Campbellsville, David Truax of Campbellsville, Patricia Wilson of Shelbyville, Virginia Miller of Greensburg, Dorothy Bewley and husband Simon of Campbellsville, Kathy Christie and husband Eddie of Greensburg, and Dodie Williams and husband Ricky of Columbia,

One grandchild and a host of extended family and friends.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother: Roy Truax

Mr. Truax chose cremation. All services were held privately.
