I am heartbroken. We were neighborhood friends since the winter of 1959-60 in West Orange, and shared many experiences and memories. I'm glad that my phone call "got through" a few days ago. The glory days of Wheeler Street will never be forgotten.

Sandy I never got to meet you, but i am sure you heard of me from Charles. I loved to aggravate him. He was so easy to pick at. But unfortunately I never was allowed the time to sit and get to know the real Charles Cusumamo. I know he had a great since of humor and loved to pick at people. I know he was highly intelligent. His love for animals was something else. I am praying for all of you and I am so glad to see that there is no more suffering. He is in a much better place. I am a much better person for knowing him. God Bless you all.

He was an amazing man. I can remember him taking care of me when he worked with one of the local Drs offices and then at the hospital. He will be greatly missed.
