James Button Obituary

James Robert Button of Campbellsville, the son of the late Robert Thomas and Kathryn (Hunt) Gardner, was born February 12, 1953 in Taylor County, KY and departed this life on Friday, April 5, 2024 in Campbellsville at his home. He was 71 years of age.

He was a former home improvement contractor.

Survivors include a son and daughter: James Robert Button, II, and his wife Katie of Louisville, and Kathryn Kirtley of Bowling Green.

Also surviving are five grandchildren: Lillian Debord, Karstun Kirtley, Kee Kirtley, Jeremiah Button, and Lucy Button, and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family chose cremation and a private celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
