Mr. Lewis Barry Tungate, age 58, of Campbellsville, son of the late Sylvester and Helen (Garrett) Tungate, passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at his home after a sudden illness. He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville Baptist Church. He is survived by two brothers, Eric Tungate and wife Phyllis of Campbellsville, and Stanley Tungate of Marion County, and a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

   He was also preceded in death by four siblings: Russell Tungate, Rosetta Lewis, Zelda Bottoms, and Cindy Webb.

   At the request of Mr. Tungate, cremation rites were entrusted to the L.R. Petty Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Campbellsville. His ashes will be buried in the Brookside Cemetery at a later date. There was no public visitation.
