Mrs. Bernice D. Wood of Campbellsville was born in Metcalfe County on October 30, 1922 to the late George Taylor and Carrie (Keltner) Finn. She departed this life on Monday, December 11, 2017 in Louisville, being 95 years, 1 month, and 11 days of age. She was a homemaker and wife to Granville Wood, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Wood had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Methodist faith.

She leaves to cherish her memory:

   Two sons: Dwight Wood, and Michael Wood and wife Manette,

   One grandson: Patrick Wood,

   A great-granddaughter,

   One brother: Murey Finn,

   And several other extended family and friends.

   She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Arvid, Glen, and Eddie, and a one sister, Virginia.

   At the request of Mrs. Wood, there was a private interment service held at the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Cemetery, where she was laid to rest beside her husband.
